Donna Cryer sends letter to Secretary Alex Azar of HHS, and Aministrator Seema Verma of CMS

In response to AOPO’s recent misinformation campaign, GLI sent this letter to HHS in support of the Administration’s efforts to bring accountability to the organ procurement organizations’ performance. Our letter provides factual corrections to AOPO’s claims.

We also thanked HHS for the incredible progress made to date and for bringing this issue to actionable solutions so that patients and the public can have confidence that the transplant system works for us.
