SUMMARY:Advanced Advocacy Academy
DESCRIPTION:The Advanced Advocacy Academy (A3) was created to close a critical gap in the liver community: patients and caregivers needed the skills\, knowledge\, and confidence to advocate effectively—and to help drive meaningful change in healthcare. \n\nA3 equips advocates with practical training in communication\, policy engagement\, and strategic storytelling so they can influence decisions that impact liver health at the local\, national\, and global levels. Participants learn how to navigate complex healthcare systems\, engage policymakers\, and move from personal experience to policy impact. \nSince launching in 2017\, A3 has grown from a small cohort of 17 advocates into a powerful\, international network advancing liver health across the U.S.\, the U.K.\, and beyond.
