The Liver Cancer Lessons series is designed to educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers on emerging topics and groundbreaking research shaping the future of liver cancer care. Through conversations with leading experts, the series celebrates advancements, addresses existing challenges, and shares insights on strategies to improve outcomes and close gaps in liver cancer treatment and prevention.
The Health Equity Roundtable Series, part of the #OctoberIs4Livers campaign, explores how health equity impacts the risk of liver disease and liver cancer across diverse underserved populations. Each discussion brings together liver health experts and community advocates to examine unique risk factors, barriers to care, and screening challenges within these communities. Panelists also highlight current efforts and outline the critical work needed to close health equity gaps and improve outcomes for all.
The Policy Briefing Series, held each October following Global Liver Institute’s A3 Hill Day in Washington, D.C., keeps the liver health community informed on key legislative issues impacting patients and constituent health. In these briefings, expert speakers break down current legislation being considered in Congress, explaining how proposed policies could affect individuals living with liver disease and the broader community. Each episode concludes with clear calls to action, empowering viewers with practical steps to stay engaged and advocate for policies that advance liver health.

The State of Liver Cancer
Global Liver Institute (GLI), the Hepatitis B Foundation, NASH kNOWledge, and the Taiwan Hepatitis Information and Care Association (THICA) hosted a virtual October’s Liver Cancer Awareness Month Educational Briefing on The State of Liver Cancer in October.
