Launched in 2021, the Liver Action Network (LAN) unites a global community of organizations dedicated to improving liver health. Our members bring local insight, lived experience, and a shared commitment to expanding liver outreach. Together, we amplify our impact, share best practices, and drive meaningful change for individuals and families affected by liver disease.

Member Impact

LAN Members actively advance liver health by:

  • Creating patient- and caregiver-focused resources
  • Hosting trainings on emerging hepatology research
  • Facilitating health screenings, awareness events, and support groups
  • Advising on nutrition, physical activity, and optimal care pathways
  • Sharing updates on legislative priorities that support patients
  • Consulting patients, caregivers/care partners, providers, and policymakers to ensure programs meet real community needs

What’s Happening in LAN

LAN members have the unique opportunity to utilize GLI networks to promote their community events. We want to demonstrate the reach of our LAN members and maximize impact. If you have an event, program, or initiative that you would like us to promote fill out the materials submission form or contact us at advocacy@globalliver.org
